A thunderstorm warning has now been issued for Choctaw  and Washington counties, as well as Wayne County, Mississippi.

According to the NWS in Mobile, the area is under the warning until 11:45 a.m..

At 10:54 a.m. severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Toomsuba, Miss., to four miles east of Maxie, moving east at 30 mph. Hazards include 60-mph wind gusts.

The storm could produce damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

The warning covers towns that include Butler, Lisman, Silas, Pennington, Gilbertown, Toxey, and Millry.
